Woodfibre onsite daily air records: 2025

All twelve monthly monitoring reports have been recovered from the operator’s public filings list, and their complete daily air tables have been transcribed and visually checked. The combined file retains every 2025 calendar date, the original printed values, missing markers, source links and table locations. It does not fill measurement gaps.

There are 346 reported numeric daily PM₂.₅ values and 332 daily NO₂ means and hourly maxima. PM₁₀ has 334 values; TSP has 311. PM₁ first appears in the November report, with 57 numeric daily values across November and December. A value printed for a date does not establish 24 valid hours on that date.

Reading the file

Concentrations keep their printed precision. Particle quantities are daily means in µg/m³; NO₂ columns distinguish daily mean and daily maximum hourly mean in ppb. The November addition of PM₁ has its own column. PM₁ is a particle-size fraction, not a direct measurement of black carbon or a specific chemical.

Each concentration has a status column. numeric_as_printed identifies a reported number; explicitly_missing retains a printed dash and its footnote; not_reported identifies the PM₁ column before it appeared. The CSV retains source month, exact PDF link and hash, table page and row. Consult the linked report for its missing-data footnote. No dates or missing observations have been converted to zero.

Context that affects comparison

The reports identify the air data as Level 0 validation. They document equipment interruptions, failed span tests, filter-tape errors and calibration periods. Several reports describe a 75% exclusion for particular missing days, but daily valid-hour counts are not provided. Instrument and clock details must be assessed report by report.

The November report documents replacement of the NO₂ analyzer, from Model 42i to 42iQ on 19 November with calibration on 20 November. It also records introduction of the Aeroqual PM₁ monitor on 4 November. These are measurement-history facts; they do not by themselves explain a concentration change. November instrument summary.

Event narratives and forecast-image captions contain clock labels with different scopes. They do not establish a consistent daily-table or logger setting across the year. The consolidated dates remain nominal report labels. Native hourly measurements and their quality flags are still needed for exact time alignment and local background assessment.

The full 2025 comparison with Squamish Elementary now provides independently checked monthly and annual matched-day summaries, using the original monthly transcriptions. It retains missing days and clock-window checks. The earlier May analysis remains available. None of these daily values has been used to recalibrate the plume map.
